WELCOME TO THE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Joyful learning takes place in our Elementary School, where the diversity of our many cultures is respected and celebrated. At ISG - Dammam, parents join with caring, experienced professionals in forming a strong partnership that makes each child's learning - academic and social, the focus of everything. Our child-friendly program with its small class sizes and personalized attention provides each student with the competence, and desire to do his/her best and to excel.
ISG - Dammam Elementary School comprises of students from kindergarten to grade four. A modified American curriculum is followed in our school. The core academic subjects taught from kindergarten through grade four are Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Health, and Global Language. We offer Arabic, French, Filipino, Urdu, and Hindi for Global Language. Our specialist classes include Physical Education, Computer Technology, Art, and Islamic Culture. Music is taught up to Grade two. English as an Additional Language (EAL) is offered to students who need support in learning the English language
Our student body consists of more than 500 students who originate from many different countries of the world. The diverse student body is an asset to our school and values of unity, respect and tolerance for other cultures are taught and prevalent within our school community. Our staff is also multicultural who establish a close relationship with their students. Continuous staff development is offered to our teachers which enables them to be aware of the best instructional practices in teaching. Teachers are encouraged to attend workshops and in-services, both within the kingdom and outside. Our teachers attend NESA, TOYC, TARA, ABC, KSAALT, and other international conferences. The Elementary school has 25 homeroom teachers and 19 specialists. We also have an Elementary School counselor who provides counseling services to our students.

Various co-curricular and extra curricular activities are included for the overall development of the child. Monthly assemblies are conducted on various themes for character development. Book Club, Book Fair, Reading Enrichment Program encourage students in reading. The annual Speak-Out program, Grade-Level Educational Program, Vocabee and Knowledge Bowl encourage students to enhance their natural talents, speaking, general awareness and language skills. Fall Festival, Sports Day and Field Trips enable students to have fun as well as work and play together. Students also participate in Science and Social Studies Fairs. Our PAL Program and Student Council activities enable students to develop leadership skills. Numerous after school activities are offered. Students are recognized for good behavior and outstanding performance in academic and extracurricular activities through assemblies, Model Behavior Parade and Recognition Day.
