WELCOME TO THE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
I have great pleasure in welcoming all our parents and children to an exciting 2011-2012 school year at
ISG-Dammam Elementary School! Our enrollment has reached to more than 550 students. We have 194 new students and I extend a special welcome to all our new families who have joined us this year! I hope you have a positive and pleasant experience with our school.
Although we had some uncertainties as we ended the last school year, we started this school year with new excitement and hope as we were able to get all our classrooms and facilities ready for our students. We are extremely happy to welcome our new principal, Mr. John Rutten who is from Minnesota, USA. Mr. Rutten comes with a wealth of knowledge and experiences that will enable him to take our school to greater heights.
We have 31 full-time teachers and 12 part-time teachers in the Elementary School. Four new staff have joined us this year. I welcome Mrs. Josefina Gonzaga, Mrs. Fathima Solomon, Mrs. Jetty Reji and Mrs. Suzanne Farhat to the Elementary School faculty.
We are proud of our commitment to high academic and behavioral expectations for our children. As part of our AFG goals, we aim to improve our students’ performance in Reading and Writing.
It is our distinct privilege to partner together with you in the education of your children. We will continue to improve the communication between school and home. We will be making a concerted effort to inform parents and community members of all the great things that are happening within our walls. E-mails, newsletters, hand book, school website and phone calls are various avenues for communication.
Our Activities Coordinator, Mrs. Debika Singh will notify you regarding the after-school activities that are offered for students of grades 1-4.
