Today's young people are living in an exciting time with increasingly diverse society with new technologies and expanding opportunities. We as a school and especially the Counselor's Office sees it as our duty to help ensure that they are prepared to become the next generations of workers, leaders, and successful human beings. We are there to give them support, guidance, and opportunities to reach their goals in life.
High School is the final transition into adulthood and the world at work. Students are deciding who they are, what they do well, and what they will do when they graduate. We are helping them to make the right decisions by providing the following College Placement Counseling.

- Grade 12: Advice regarding College Application Process, Transcripts deadlines, Recommendation letters, and we organize College Admission Officers' visits.
We also provide the following proactive programs and services to help the student achieve success in school:
- Academic Skills Support
- Organizational, study, and test-taking skills
- Career planning
- Education in understanding self and others
- Goal setting
- Academic Plans, Course Selection
- Problem Solving
- Coping Strategies
- Peer Relationships and effective social skills

NHS Selection Procedure
Step One
A student should have an average of 85% from Grade 9 at the school OR if the student is new, the student's average for the first two quarters must be 85% and above - to continue to go through the rest of the selection process.
Step Two
If the student has satisfied the first step, then the student should not have any demerits against his/her name. Demerits will cause one to be excluded from the rest of the selection process.
Step Three
The student will have to complete a Student Information Form, listing dates, events, and activities. Each activity must be verified by an adult sponsor. Services must be authenticated by service sheets and signed by an adult sponsor. Any other documentation such as varied copies of certificates and awards must also be attached to the form.
Step Four
The faculty committe, made up of five teachers, will review the information on the Student Information Form and students will be selected to become a member of the ISG - Dammam National Honor Society. The NHS Adviser does not vote students in - this is done by the five-teacher committee.
Step Five
If you have been successfully selected, you will be notified in person by the NHS Adviser.
