WELCOME TO THE MIDDLE SCHOOL

Dear Middle School Parents and Students,
By this time, I am sure that all of you are all busy working on lessons posted by teachers using the NESA Virtual School. The school’s telephone lines and cell phones have never been as busy as what we are experiencing now. This unexpected closure of schools in Saudi Arabia  is rare opportunity for all of us to learn and implement a different  way of educating our children. The responses from parents and students  are varied and many have concerns about the effectiveness of the virtual school. As with anything that is new, we need to give it some time to be tried and tested. ISG-Dammam is committed to providing each child a well-rounded education. The use of technology, and the internet specifically,  is one of the latest trends in education that students of the 21st century onwards cannot do without. The teachers are very excited about the virtual school. The responses they are getting from the students fuel their effort and commitment to these online lessons. We are encouraging parents and students to continue communicating with us regarding their feedback and/or concerns.  Parents are advised to monitor their child as he/she does the tasks posted by the teachers.
Please log on to the school’s website for more updates on school activities and further announcements.

NESA Virtual School
It is almost like back to school days again for ISG-Dammam teachers as they learn and work together in classrooms learning  more about  Blackboard and planning  lessons, activities, and assignments.

Professional Development  at ISG-D
ISG-Dammam teachers never stop learning and growing both professionally and personally. As part of their Professional Development Day,  teachers attended stress –relieving sessions which they can also teach to students.  Other PD sessions included classroom management, assessment, and conferencing.
